Gorgonian Coral Field With Basket Stars – 4K Deep Pinnacle

This 50-second 4K clip showcases an expansive and colorful field of orange and white gorgonian corals, filmed on a deep offshore pinnacle near Port Hardy, off northern Vancouver Island. The corals rise from the rocky reef like delicate fans, creating a beautiful cold-water coral landscape rarely seen outside of advanced dives.

Throughout the frame, basket stars are visible nestled within the coral branches, adding ecological depth and movement to the scene.  Filmed at a depth of approximately 105 feet, the clip features slow, deliberate camera motion that allows viewers to fully appreciate the scale and texture of the environment.
