Giant Pacific Octopus Crawling in Shallow Bay – 4K Footage

    $69.00

This 15-second clip captures a Giant Pacific Octopus (Enteroctopus dofleini) gracefully crawling across a rocky sand bottom in a shallow bay off Vancouver Island. Filmed in clear, ambient light with subtle supplemental illumination, the shot highlights the natural fluidity of octopus movement in a wide, stable frame.  The octopus navigates calmly past several other cold-water invertebrates, including sea cucumbers, tube-dwelling anemones, and a sea urchin, adding texture and ecological richness to the shot.

Filmed using a Sony A7S III and Sony 16–35mm f/4 lens in S-Log3, the footage offers excellent grading flexibility and crisp environmental detail.  Ideal for use in marine biology documentaries, cold-water habitat studies, interpretive exhibits, or any production needing clean, behavior-focused cephalopod footage.
