Cruising Through Eelgrass With Light Rays – 4K Stock Footage

This 24-second 4K underwater clip captures the serene experience of cruising through a shallow eelgrass bed, as natural sunlight filters through the surface and creates soft, dancing light rays. The slow, cinematic movement and ethereal lighting make this footage ideal for use in documentaries, ambient nature films, marine conservation content, and underwater visual projects.

Shot in the coastal waters of British Columbia using the Sony A7S III paired with a Sony 16–35mm f/4 OSS lens, housed in a Aquatica Digital underwater housing. Recorded in S-Log3 at 60fps to allow for smooth motion and slow-motion flexibility in post-production. The footage is available in two versions: a graded version that brings out the vibrant greens of the eelgrass and the soft texture of the water column, and an ungraded S-Log3 version for maximum color grading flexibility in post-production.
